SO what are "rune chainings"?
Tried looking for them on alla and couldn't find them.

Do you MQ them for the spells or are they droppable?
Are they crafted? Where do you get them?
What is the correct spelling so I can search in bazaar.

Thanks and sorry for all the questions but I'm level 62 now and plan on buying the higher level spells soon.

On Kane Bayle, which is notoriously expensive, I bought Ferocity for 5k and Sha's Revenge for 8k.  I've never seen them for more than 15k either...and usually that's Ferocity, Sha's Revenge seems to stabilize around 12k.

And then last night, in an insane group that was just bouncing back and forth between BoT nameds--3 Monks (2 of them Time-geared), myself, Druid, and a SK, with an Enchanter and a Cleric outside the group--a Glyphed Rune Word dropped.  I never thought I'd see one before I hit 65...so I felt pretty stupid, hehe.  But, the Druid still needed his 65 spells so he got it.

Game on,

The Oneiromancer

Looking for this on Xegony as well now. I hate to post something like this on boards, but I've been looking for three weeks now with no luck so hopefully someone has a rune or the spell stuck away in the bank for just such an occasion.

On Cazic-thule I've never seen Sha's Revenge for sale.

Ferocity's price varies wildly from 10k to 75k, depending on how insane the seller is

Glyphed Rune MQ's are few and far between and they are insanely high-priced too because most of the guilds on the high-end save all of their runes for their members.

I got lucky and picked mine up for 25k.  Fero for 29k as well.  It took 60k to get all the remaining spells for 64 and 65.  Now for that pesky Tak LDoN and I have all but SoF and GoD spells.  Just as soon as I ding 65 that is  :D

If I still needed it and had the plat I'd pay 99,999 plat for Sha's Revenge.  It really is that good...it's the spell Beastlords should strive to get.

Having said that, it still annoys the piss out of me when people ask me if I have it before letting me in the group.  *grumble*  (Yes, yes, I know it's a valid question. :))

You mean, like when they ask for HP on the tank?  I hate that more then I can say.  Stuck up clerics that won't take a group because the tank has too few hp.  I have been in many successful groups with less then perfect toons and failed with groups that had the perfect holy trinity.

Most clerics that ask that are asking so that they can better judge when to heal and which heals to use.  I always see a cleric asking that as a GOOD sign.

Oh no, I have always seen clerics in group asking for HP / AC as a good thing.  I am talking about when they are in /LFG and you send them a tell to do a LDoN and they turn you down based on group make up and HP of main tank.  I am now to the point that if they ask too indepth of questions I will just say "Nevermind, I wanted a cleric with a 'good' attitude."  They have been spoon fed and ridden the exp of groups that they probably should never have been in.  Snobby cleric asking for 7.5 k HP tank and fully buffed they don't hit 3k really ticks me off.  Guess we have some real charmers on Lanys.

Sorry for the derail.  So, yeah.  I got the spell too.  :D

I hate it a lot more when I get an invite to a group only to find out that the warrior tank is in full crafted armor and dual-wielding a lamentation/centi longsword combination.  While I can take a beating, most clerics can't tank slowed LDoN mobs.  I can see the cleric not wanting to deal with that.

That's exactly why you see funny stories about what goes on in pickup groups, you never know what you're going to get.

This would be after joining the group though.  I don't mind the question at all if they already let me in the group, it's when it's a pre-group question that it annoys me.  Like I said, valid question, but still annoying.  Sorry to derail things.

Actually the REALLY good clerics lead off with a lower hp heal and calculate in their heads how much the tank has - it's quicker that way ;)

Yeah I just start healing and gauge hps/ac/aa by how fast/often the tank needs healing.  Then I do a few more quick calculations in my head as to whether it's better to actually heal the mana spounge that much or let them die and click rez stick after.  8P
