Ok, the messageboard at eqbeastlord.com has slowed to a crawl, so evidently the community is done there. Are we using this system, or (god forbid) the ezboard at http://pub140.ezboard.com/beqbeastlord? As much as I enjoy the beastlord community, I'd really like a definite "let's use this board" decision from somewhere.

Count my vote for these forums; I have enough ezboards to wade through as it is. :) If we do end up here, is there any means of retrieving the data from the previous board? If any of the admin refugees have access to the database, that'd be a big bonus to using this board. Starting fresh is never fun.

Well, unfortunately, I doubt anybody other than Oaga, and at this point the "new owner" have acesss to the database.  The only way we're going to preserve our old information, is with good ole' cut and paste.

Before we decide to make this the official site, lets see if the owner can agree to the policies of the old forum. But yes I would like to see this forum be the one.

Cut and paste makes me cringe. If this site does become the de facto Beastlord community messageboard, count me in on helping move information from the old to the new board. There's more creative ways to do things. :)

I hope we can preserve the dignity and maturity we had at the old board, as well.  That was wha made it different from other boards.

It will take a few days for everything to settle but I've little doubt based upon what i've already seen that this will make a fine home for us.
