1) That post is over two years old.
2) Follow that post exactly and you'll have your own 2.5
The "2.5" designation just means you got the hidden demiplane augment for epic.

Does the 2.5 aug change/improve the pet buff for us or is the aug a total waste of time to get?

All our aug does is add dmg and stats no improvement for focus or clicky.

I dunno for some strange reason all these years I thought it did give some small upgrade to the pet buff, I must'a got it mixed up with the wizard epic or somethin lol
It's not a total waste ... you get 10 whole achievement points for it! :-P
