Something that should be noted for the Dranik's Scar Fight

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I didn't see this mentioned in any of the Dranik's posts so far.  It should be noted that upon the death of the Girplan Spiritleech, a CHEST has a chance of spawning.  When I duo'd it with my druid just now (post patch BTW), I ended up looting this from the chest: Torn Silk Cord of Perception.  Might help give an incentive if you need friends to assist you in this fight.

Doesn't always spawn a chest. We did about 6 or 7 multi grouped epics for people last night, only 2 spawned a chest. Neither DS or RCoD fight spawned one for me.

Ah, I see.  I didn't see it mentioned anywhere that it was a possibility.  Guess it should be "has a chance to spawn a chest".

Doesn't explain why the chest didn't spanw when i did DS or RCoD fight, i looted epic piece both times

I did the Girplan Spiritleech last night....no chest. I was at that point, and now have my cloak for the final fight.

Hm - I have no idea whether a chest spawned.  Since I wasn't expecting one, I didn't look for one...

Wonder if you have to kill all his little helpers to have it spawn, though.  I fooled around until I was able to pet pull him out of the pack to just the right distance and we burned him down.

Perhaps they fixed it in the patch this morning?  Could see if other beastlords who kill the Spiritleech (and haven't previously looted it's drop as well as being flagged for the event) spawn a chest or not over the next few days.

Well, according to SOE, a chest should spawn when you loot your epic drop from the mob.  When I killed the Spiritleech this morning, the chest spawned despite me still fighting the helper that came with him (I fought the GSL and one helper simultaniously, kept the GSL from running on low health).

Interesting.  Did the chest spawn next to you, or somewhere else? (on the rock where he spawns, for instance?)

It spawned close to where the Spiritleech died, definately not on the rock where it spawns.  I remember seeing it and going "WTF is this?" because I didn't know a chest could spawn during this event.
