Title: Pet shrink issue
Post by: Petts on January 26, 2007, 04:33:05 PM
Is there anything being done about our pets doubling in size if they are
already shrunk and someone cast shrink on them or a shaman cast group
shrink?

i am tired of having to keep Tiny Companion loaded during raids.

Thanks

you can block their shrink spells.

Tiny Terror and umm.. /tabs out to look at lucy.. Donlo's Dementia.

I don't remember the numbers anymore, but I think you can just type in partial names to get it in the blocked spell list.

Search on the boards here.. I'm sure its on here somewhere.

Go into the EQ Button.  One of your options there is to "Block Pet Buffs".  You can do it by name.  The big one that hits your pet is "Tiny Terror", so just type it in and it will be blocked.

I've never had a problem with Donlo's Dementia being cast to shrink the group and growing my pet, but if it does, you can block it off the kitty in exactly the same way.  Just type it into the blocked pet buffs list.

Ah, I didn't know you could add spells by name now.

This is the line I made up long ago to block all the various shrink spells for the pet:

/blockspell add pet 345 3393 2203 1831 1355 1874

You only have to do it once...it sticks.
