Alright so i though i'd start for the 1.0 epic.. not much of a quester before but thought i'd give it a shot.  Does anyone know if this part still works? I hail him and do the dialog and he takes me to the camp and says the objective is to kill, but that doesn't follow what the guides i have been reading says.  They say he will go in and attack and i have to keep him alive... he's not doing that. 

Any help would be great.

you don't need to do the quest on the scout camps, but you do need to go to the camps and try to loot the medalion.

He doesn't go in to the camp to fight anymore.  He just leads you there and you kill all the mobs.  Do this over and over until the right mobs spawn, sometimes 1st try sometimes many tries.
