Title: Database error

A few minutes ago I tried to get into the forums and got a database error that I should have noted but didn't. It only lasted a few mins.

The server (or just the database server anyway) was probably resetting. Or Kasmiir was playign with stuff and broke it. ;)

That was prob the error, I got that a few times in the last few mins

Not in the last few minutes anyway. Can't remember if that's a server down or a bad login msg, I'm thinking server down. so maybe the mysql server is having osme probs or goign through updates.

calm people its a easy thing to fix, theres only 3 things that can make it happen.

editing of the conf file
mysql restarting / flood control limits triggered
db subroutines being edited and testing

I havent a dobut that DoisT and the others are looking into it now to see whats going on.

I've increased the maximum number of connections.

There is a permissions problem with one of the web servers, too.  That's why the problem was only showing up for some sessions.  I've put in a work around.

Hehe, thats what I figured it was.

If you want PM me and I will see if we can resolve the actual issue so you dont have to use a work around.
