So we are on the lookout for the 5th elder, or has anyone tried giving back the letter after the 4 that are currently found?

i think there are 5 as well .. we have a barb, a lizzy, a kitty, and the oggor..my guess is the next/last one would be a troll ..  thats an elder for each bst race and makes very good since .... could ckeck illithu or any area around there. and probably going to be named Undalla. since that i think is the last elder name from the spells that we have not found.

He's blue to my 65 beast, however I don't have the letter so I could not check him.  =/

Just checked Drakigone Bruann in Warslik's and he isn't for the epic, he didn't take the note.  Oh well, back to hunting for a troll.

LoY might be a good place to look for a troll.

However if we look at the locations of the previous 4 elders you see there isn't really any obvious patterns or links between race and location:

- Marrey McGrannel [BARBARIAN FEMALE]
Ocean of Tears. Loc: -1521, 1542 (Siren Rocks)
She talks about studying the ways and mind tricks of the sirens to help "our kin" (beastlords).

- Rashara Wrualla [VAH-SHIR FEMALE]
Jaggedpine Forest. Loc: 324, -1592.
She talks briefly about how she is having some trouble studying the pottameids and how she (the elder) is specialist in "advancement and power of warders" and that she possesses some forms of warder we haven't seen before that are highly sought after.

- Ikpug Giblod [OGRE MALE]
Temple of Cazic Thule. Loc: 895, -355 (in the temple water)

- Irionu Bastun [IKSAR ????]
The Overthere. Loc: Approx 3500. -3500
He/she talks about the rhinos and their fierceness and agility and how he/she has used some of the ways of such fierce animals in his/her "conjuress" (magic).

We have a barbarian in the Ocean of Tears (wtf?), a vah shir in jaggedpine (again wtf, but since she talks about being a warder specialist i guess it makes sense to hang around animals), an ogre in CT (which is next to the feerott so kinda makes sense since thats where ogres live) and an iksar in OT (which is part of kunark). Some make sense, some don't. No real train of logic here I am thinking.

PS: Thinking about it later I came to the conclusion that all of the elders I have talked to so far seem to be trying to study a race of wild beings/creatures in an attempt to co-mingle that race's techniques with their own Beastlord magic to make stronger magics. Perhaps that is a clue we could use to find the troll... he/she will be attempting to study a race of wild beings/creatures somewhere.

I did notice a pattern, all of them are in or around water.  I'm probably going to check what places I can that have water.  So far I checked LGuk and UGuk tonight.

I was just thinking about this... but could it be possible that the last Elder is in a GoD zone?  Though those zones are called Taelosia... but it's a shot.

Was thinking about GoD becuase I heard that most of the mobs there have a dd proc, which is like what our epic 1.5/2.0 do.  Maybe one of the Elders is studying the inherent magic of those creatures or something?

My thought atm. 3 starting citys in Antonica, 3 Elders found ( sure the vah shir starts on Luclin, but still), 1 Starting city on Kunark, 1 Elder found. 1 starting city on Luclin, no Elder found. I know it's a kind of lame theory, but that's all I got left. I have Ruled out GoD/OoW zones (since he wanted Norrathian places, a Elder mighta been kidnapped or followed someone to these zone sure, but it doesn't seem likely to me).  I also voted out PoP and LDoN. Unless its in one of the PoP zones wich you can get into by just leveling. Mainly cause this seems to be epic 1.5 and it is supposed to be atainable by "non-ubers"

I ran through every single Velious zone apart from Sleepers and Plane of Growth (I realy mean every zone), and only troll I found was in far north part of Western Wastes. Though it scowled at me, but did not attack and name did not match (was something like Gibboku or something).

I have also done every Antonica, Odus, Faydwer and LoY zone. Nothing.

So my vote lays on Luclin...

Btw this tracking was done by max skill ranger and I made sure I didnt miss one inch of any zone.  :wink:

It's not on Luclin, I checked every zone except VT, and a fellow bst checked that.
