I am currently 69 on the beastlord and 68 on the druid.

The Beastlord is time flagged and around 8200 hps/6100 mana with only buffs on from the DRU and the BST. I have all spells up through level 68 (no 69 or 70 yet  :x ). I have Mana Regen 14 on the BST.

The Druid is poorly equipped and not elemental flagged yet  :-( He has 5000 mana and around 4500 hps buffed by DRU and BST buffs. I have Mana Regen 13 on the druid.

Problem is, since I dinged 69 I can't find any decent spots to two box. I went to the planes and it takes like 6-8 kills in Valor, PoD, PoN to get 1%. Bot is horrid. I am not getting decent exp in Harbringers Spire or Bloodfields anymore either without moving to mobs that seem to just tear me up.

If you can suggest any strats for me (including something I may have overlooked with the zones above), please let me know. I really noticed since the server attendance has dropped that it is much better relying on the two box then waiting around for a group. I have a goal set to get to 70 on the beastlord and the druid by the end of January, but I am starting to think that aside from playing 24/7 I will never reach my goal or go crazy one of the two.

Thanks in advance.

I suggest 2 box but not solo. You can always pick up others to join you. Have the druid as healer or grab an extra one for the group. Getting/setting up the right people in your group as a normal group would be. You will see a lot better exp turn in the long run. I boxed my Enchanter/Beast and bard in groups in WOS and MPG all the time. With the level of mob your killing, the amount you kill in a exp sitting, and the group exp bonus makes it a very viable option.

I can't comment on high lvl bst/dru combo, but did have a similar dilemma with with my shd/dru and shd/clr 2 box combo -- i.e. where to go to get decent xp post 65.  All the old fave spots blew now (HoH, Tier1 planes, etc.).  Also, I was on vacation when OoW was released so most guildies weren't online during the day and I wanted to grind my way to 70 ASAP.

To make a long story short, here is how I did it.  I decided to do Dranik Hollows expeditions 2-box.  What I did was had a 3rd boxed lowbie character in group to meet the minimum number requirements, and then I requested the expedition.  I usually did not take the 3rd char into the expedition but sometimes I did for a bit of PL.  I did NOT try to pharm names for runes.  I stayed at the zone in and pulled to the zone.  Most mobs were far enough apart (in Fire Pit) to pull single, and I kept pulling until 20 mins was almost up and then I waited at zone for the repops.  2-boxed, about the best I could manage was about 7 mobs so yeah, it took me about 2.5 mins per mob.  Once I hit 68, I got the higher lvl expeditions and the xp seemed ramp up appropriately to the increased xp required to level.

Now, because the pulls were single -- except for a roamer that paths near the static on mobs 6 and 7 (you can invis and wait for roamer to move) -- there shouldn't be that much of a difference between shd and bst pulling.  Any tanking differences should be made up for by slow -- since I had no means to slow, plus I had a greenie pet until later, perhaps 69ish so BST dps should allow you to kill 1 - 2 mobs more within the 20 min spawn time window.  While it is true I had snare to stop runners under either combo shd/dru or shd/clr, you have a druid too -- but even if you didn't, it's not an issue if they run off a short distance as long as you kill the spawns in order and keep an eye on the time.

It's quiet, no /ooc or /shout, no trains, can go afk (try to time those at the end of the cycle to keep repop times constant) and no need to do a big rebreak after the afk.  Forget rune pharming, the invis/travel time involved and moving around (which I hate doing when multiboxing).  The focus is xp and to level, and with lvl 66 mobs in a lvl 68+ expedition, it's steady and at the pace you choose.  Is it the fastest xp to be had, no -- but it's decent, it's steady, and it gets you there.

I recommend the Murk tunnels in the Eastern Wall of WoS. Unlimited single pulls (ok, theres 1 double pull in the whole place.) No names but each mob is just down the hall from the one before. Kill as fast as you like. Just dont die in there.

I also two box this combo with similar gear stats etc, 70 beast, 66 druid

I know you inquire as to two boxing , which i will adress below, but honestly, druid aside, hands down your best option is decent MPG groups , i found that just couldnt be beat for xp at 69, if you can get one, set the druid aside til your beast is where you want him xp wise,  and maybe leave lfg up while you are off xping with your druid (just make sure your bst is the group leader and he can do that)

Two box XP wise I would recommend :

DH, RCoD,NC (not so much NC, but good for variety)

DH ranks number one with me for two boxing, its biggest detractor is it gets repetetive. As mentioned, DH has the benefit of no one to contest with on any spawns, and there are several named camps that , once split,  are steady  easy xp. Split with your pet if you have the patience (54 pet works fine to single pull them, get the pet rune ldon spell if you dont have it yet), or just pull two mobs if you dont  wanna mess with the suspend/resummon (tho if  the instance is higher than one triggered by someone lvl 66 i wouldnt recommend two mobs, 66 and lower dungeons you would be ok with two tho Im sure). Make sure your druid has exodus, not a necessity, but can save you on an ill timed respawn

RCoD is good if you can get the statue camp, plenty of single pulls and very two boxable by a higher geared beast as tank/slower with a druid for heal and snare and root parkingr with the added plus of named spawns that arent gimped like DH has been. This of course is a hard camp to get.

Dont bother with PoP unless you get your druid ele flagged, the xp is just absurdly horrid post 65 anywhere but OoW zones, poearth, and pofire sadly (probably powater too, but who bothers)

WoS is ok for xp, but very very  monotonous to crawl murk caves. very doable,  but mentally i only can take it for about a half hour

Maybe go play with Ferans in NC also, they can be a little rough sometimes, but fun, not as good on the xp meter though.

Oh, and feel out vxed if you haev a sense of adventure, I have played in vxed and in sewers two box with druid. NOT EASY at all, but good for a change of pace and to wake you up. likely to have to med druid a bit after each mob, but has a very high fun factor.

You would do fine in ferubi but i dont think the xp would be what you want.

What is your strat normally when you are fighting lev 65+ oow mobs? Do you just bot the druid? suggestions :

1. you would be amazed how much of a difference stacking hand of ro, suns corona and immolation of the sun have on a mob...the druid melee debuffs make a noticable difference from personal experience on oow mobs.
2. your druid is 68 and has plenty of mana to aggro kite especially if you get him KEI first. Try bot'ing the BL. With spirit of flame on pet , you using chimera blood,. ice nuke and plague while druid is stacking imm of the sun, swarming death and wasp swarm mobs will drop pretty darn fast, I aggro kite the dragorn elites in NC all the time like this, they hit to damn hard otherwise.
3. you can now flag your druid in less than 20 minutes  for sol ro tower, where the guards are fully slowable and pretty gimp compared to 65 oow mobs

Druids and BL complement eachother better than any 2 classes ive played in 5.5 years (only reason im still playing to be honest) Start gearing your druid up a bit, with the quality of oow gear you would be amazed how much you can improve your druid (my BL has 5242 unbuffed hp, and his belt is the only thing i got from a raid). if your system can handle it, try flipping between the 2 chars instead of boxing (which i do), this will let you play both pretty much as a main, and its an absolute blast :)

Question here.. what OoW zones have mobs that dont summon and what mobs/zones are they?

Updated info on my situation here as well: I have hit 70 on the beastlord

bham

Named mobs summon in all OOW zones.

Trash mobs do not summon in NC or RcoD

Some trash mobs summon in WoS

All trash mobs summon in MPG and I think RSS

I have a very similar combo to the original poster and found the same issues.  Just two box in Walls of Slaughter while leaving LFG up and wait until you can land both there or in MPG, the latter being the better option.

As for Sol Ro's Tower, it's nice because you can still get ornate patterns which still sell somewhat well in the Bazaar, and they aren't lore.
