What portion of this does the group get..if any? Or is it still just a 50% haste for the group members?

None of it, the pet gets all of that.
Yes, it's exactly the same 50% group haste you get from Peerless Penchant.

That's directed solely at the pet, which you can tell by looking at:
Target Type: Pet
Now look at the "Autocast" field, right below the duration. If present, that's a spell that's then cast by the target (your pet). Even though it has the same name, it's a different spell that does a group buff:
1: Increase Attack Speed by 28% (L1) to 50% (L44)
