Quests in The Steppes?

Haven't really found any so wondering what might be out there. Should qualify this by saying the maps I have show quest NPCs in other zones but not here. Other zones like DW have quest NPCs right at the port in. Hopefully this doesn't read too much like "hold my hand" as much as "hey, what's out there?"

Did find a "named" gnoll on top of a building that connned indif. Floated over and was able to talk with him w/o aggro from below. Quest was to go into Veldeholm IIRC.

Spent a bit killing gnolls just north of the port in and had several quest drops:
Gnoll teeth: tagged quest, no drop, stackable
Wy'(something) cartography tools: tagged quest, no drop, uncommon drop
Gnoll blood: tagged quest but believe there are already quests in the old world that requre gnoll blood
Gnoll something - can't remember name sadly. Icon was bones but wasn't. no drop item
