Enter Crescent Reach from the moors. Cross the newbie yard and head for the city. One inside turn left and look for Historian Pewdri in the first nook. Start a conversation and ask for relics where he gives you a choice.

Once you have the Pieces of the Past quest head back to the moor. Coming out of the zone in tunnel turn left and follow the zone boundry north. Past the snakes you will climb to a plateau where the tower is.

You only need to go as far as to the area where the skelly lookouts wander, not the tower proper. Hunt the lookouts for the quest drops. The Ogre Relics you need are a common drop, up to about 2/3 of the lookouts have one and there are plenty of them around the area. The skellies are about level 35 and nuke more than they melee and can pack quite a punch if you're too close in level and the nukes actually land. Buff fire and magic resists for added safety.

Once you have the 10 Ogre Relics head back to Historian Pewdri, turn in the drops and get your Sphere of the Ancients.
