Blizzard Blast :(

Does anyone besides me have a problem with this new spell I just recently got?? Blizzard Blast .. !?!  Am I not getting it ? Is not Frost Shard not more mana efficient and hitting for more as a rule? Or have I once again missed a point???

There is no recast waite on blast, that was why it was made like it was.

Takes a long while to cast though doesn't it? I think I used it once.

It also has a higher fizzle rate I believe.  It's mostly for when you really want to chain-nuke something, or have two nukes loaded (before you get Frost Spear).

Blizzard blast was originally our best nuke.  When the PoP nukes (which have fairly large fizzle modifiers and better ratios) went in, it was left out in the cold.
