Epic Question

I've read a decent amount of posts saying the beastlord epic is one of the easiest epics to obtain. I was wondering if when i get to level 50, how hard would it be to complete the hard parts of the epic with either a 50 bst/70 monk or 50 bst/ 70 paladin, and which duo would be better?

Depending on the gear and AA's of the 70's, either might or might not work. A paladin is better able to keep the beast alive, but the monk has superior dps. On the very last fight, outside melee dps is useless, so the paladin is the clear winner for that fight. The price of trying and failing is pretty low, except on the Timourous fight.

You need level 51, but you can gather a few parts ahead of time.
