I would love to make a new channel, preferably with some way to moderate the morons. Maybe something like the monks have.

Let's take our channel back from the vahh's please. I haven't been able to stand being in it for over 6 months now. :D

I wouldn't mind a somewhat moderated channel, as yes, the current one has degenerated into a spam and link fest.  But it does need to be something where anybody (exception being troublemakers) are able to freely speak.  Not sure how possible that is with the current channel controls.

I haven't been to the old channel in almost 2 months and I have to say that they've been the most peaceful time I've ever had in EQ.

Unfortunately, with the way that chat channels are set up in EQ, there is no real way to moderate.  You can't ban people, you can't keep people out if they discover the password, etc.  So all you'd be doing really is creating another beastlord channel that 'might' just degenerate into the old one.  I'm all for it, but I don't think it'll last as you would like it.

Personally I would like to see a new channel with some sort of moderation in mind.

I joined the old channel a couple times and can't say that it was a very pleasurable or even fruitful experience.  :cry:

The current channel is retarded, filled with spam,drama and a waste of time.

I stopped logging in there about a year ago myself.

A new channel that is closely moderated to filter out the retarded stench would be nice.

Nothing wrong with simple topics  to the most complex one being discussed and taken apart.

However ~ seeing the link of "cream" linked a gazillion times for no reason is where I drew the line.

The old channel is funny sometimes. I could do with fewer links to the Ornate boots though. I see that thing 6 times a night.  :P
