Ok here's a little background I play on the combine server been there from day 1 with my cleric I retired her a few months back and  now I just useing her to heal out side group or solo. I am at lv 77 current time and Due Plan to raid again with bst but in my eyes I dont have enough aa. I have been going by expantion aa trying to get the ones I felt I needed. Am I wrong on this path ?. I am in a guild that is raiding demi but am on the sidelines watch becauce I feel I not ready mental and aa wise  :wink:.


Have 2.0 done have all bb gear and some coa gear. Need augs and a few spells from don and dodh .

just saw this post.

My responce is due to the fact that your are (or were) nearly the same level as myself with the same number of aa's.  I have just come back to EQ after a 4.5  year break and it was just after LDoN lauched that I left.  I came back to a level 65 BL with about 40 aa's.

Based off of what I have learned in the last few months mostly boxing and some grouping with friends here are my suggestions.

Boost your Defensive skills (you noted that you were aware of this already)
-Combat Agility
-Combat Stablity
-Natural Durablity (another level or two)
Boost your Offensive skills
-Bestial Frenzy (best melee aa)
-Combat Fury
-Weapon Affinity (get life tap procs augs.: Deep Sky Stone & Deepsky Stone)
Boosting effectivness 
-Spell Casting Fury
-Healing Adept
-Healing Gift
Utility
-Paragon of Spirits (enough to get Focused Paragon alteast)
-Focused Paragon
-Suspend Minion
-Persistant Minion
-Pet Affinity

Ofcourse this depends on playstyle but these few should get you going in a productive path

Me?  I box an Enchanter and Beastlord (not a great duo but it works for me).    My chanter is level 70 and my BL is now level 76.  Both were 65 when I came back to EQ.
