Bloodfire Soulburn

This quest is so easy. First go to Gulf of Gunthak outside the lighthouse there is an NPC named Craegin Coldtongue. hail him and say i am a beastlord. Sometext will follow. Then say Will you draw more about your warder? and he wll give u a stone. Take the stone and go to the tunnle system that leads to Dulak stay to left side and the first tunnel that split off will the the fort . As soon as u see some huts start killing to make an injured wolf spawn. You only need to kill mobs from the first hut u see and the five huts to the right of it. Once the wolf spawns hand it the stone and it will dissapear leaving u holding a collar. Take the collar back to Craegin at the lighthouse hand it to him and  Boom! you have your new pet buff Bond of the Wild.   I did this solo at 53, but someone that can track the wolf would help. all mobs there was LB or Green at 53.

I hope this will help some  8)

Spent 3 hours camping the wolf.  I decided I would rather recast haste every 17 minutes then sit another 5 minutes outside of that damn fort.

The wolf random spawns around the fort in the huts.  If there is one already up, it won't spawn again.

Yes what Noriko said. I spent hours killing in the first 4 huts only to have a ranger come through and tell me wolf was on track. It seems he was on backside of fort the whole time. Best thing is to invis up and run a circuit around the fort checking each hut and campfire before you start killing.

Unless you have a tracker to help you, invis up and check every single hut is the only way to do it.  The huts doorway open in any direction, you won't see all the spawns in a circuit run.

And check the campfires up against the walls as well. That is where the wolf was when I found him.

In my experience, the PHs for where the wolf can spawn are the laying down mobs.

So:

Step 1 Get Tracker or invis and run the circle.
Step 2 Go to the left side as you enter and follow the curve.  There is an outcropping with a building just on the other side.  A level 30 cand stand there and not get agro.
Step 3 Start pulling right to left.  I prefer this as you can watch for the repop.  Also there is a buidling directly in fron that has 2 mobs.  Bad day if you get two and are low level.
Step 4 After area cleared, pull the building just past the outcropping.  It may require you to lead a wide circle to target, but you can cast at it through the walls.
Step 5 Lather, Rinse, Repeat

The one in the hut next to you has spawned a number of times for me and I get good loot.  Easy to get an invis to and no real issues with wanderers.  As you level waiting for the pop  :D  You can start clearing the entire area.  The thing I think is wrong with the quest is the fact that I can solo the level 52 spell, but needed a lot of help to get 44.  At 44 the mobs that dropped the black powder were very hard to fight and I ended up needing the help of mid 50's to get it.

Main things to worry about are male ogres.  They are sometimes SKs and will HT you and fear.  May want to try this with no SoW or run clicked off.  Not fun to try and run out of there when you are tucked in behind 12 - 15 mobs thanks to SoW

Hope this helps
