Armour Quests, And Armour Drops, For lvl 55

I am an untwinked lvl 56 Vah Shir beastlord, still wearing the Immortals BP. Because of my playing time, I have to solo.

I need to upgrade my armour! I would prefer to look for questable and droppable armour.

I have had a look at allakhazam for quests that would be do-able solo.
The Plane of Tranquility quests are a bit too tough.
The Thurg quests seem to be a bit too high too.
The Velious quests, and the Kunark quests seem to have some good items. Not sure if these are solo-able.

Other than doing quests, I read that Skyshrine, Cobalt Scar and Torg mines may have some decent drops for beastlords.

Any suggestions would be most helpful. My guild has several up and coming beastlords (lvl 28 - 52) that would be appreciative of any advice.

I would suggest taking a look at the Nurga quests and rewards:

It's a great zone for grouping and soloing.  While some the quest drops may be rare, they are not no drop.  I did a few recently and feel the rewards are good.

Check out that link for more info on the Nurga armor quests / Nurga in general. Have been playing in there recently and have enjoyed it, though am 2boxed so makes things a bit easier. I actually have the neck piece from there but bought the components in the bazaar.

I am still stuck on finding armour quests and drops.

I am astounded to see that the Wild Lord line drops off Tier 1 MoBs! The tunic is AC 14!!

I think I finally get what SOE intended with their "recommended level" equipment! A character outfitted in only recommended level armor and equipment  would not be able to solo and gain experience.
