And for the casual slacker, could SoE please note that Augment Type 8 is pretty useless if you cant do any raid mobs.... Think, LDoN ... decent (bought with points) augs with nowhere to put them.

I can do hours of LDoN's but I cant get items with Slot 8. (can I? )

Well, with OoW you can get type 8 items with single groups. Especially the mpg single group trials are doable in bazaar gear, not all of them but some. I got my mask in one of the easiest ones for example.

If you mean augments, well, you can buy them at every LDoN merchant and enough type 7/8 or 4/8 items drop now in OoW.

Is nice how dose it compair with the ring out of GoD.  This boosted pet damage from 90 to 94.  So I know it is doing somthing for the Bear.

My Minion of Eternity pet hits for 95 max, so the RS item is pretty damn close

unfortunatly the best focus items are the boots from qvic, and they are raid items, but unless you have lvl 70 pet spell , (which i dont yet) max damage for pet with these is 97 with lvl 70 pet goes up to 107 per hit max damage not using epic 1.5 (dont have that either so dont know if it increases damage any more )

the item from ldon and others that are available for non raiding beasts are actually pretty good though imho

Qvic boots with level 70 pet and Growl max hits for 105 with me (same as the Eye of the Labrynth Dweller ring)

Just got the lvl 70 pet.  hits 94 with growl, without focus.  hits 95 with DPoC and Growl.  Hope to get my hands on Pyrique's belt soon.

(Edit: Just realized theres a Pet Chart topic, sorry to have posted this here.  Move it there mods/admins if need.  The Hp numbers arent exact, but regen %s were besides the Growl extra.  Mostly did it to show that MoD barely does anything for Sorsha besides HP buff it, and MoD nor SB give any regen to Allandu)

Tested MoDarkness for my own purposes today, dont see it here anywhere but anyone who wants to know....   I know its not completely accurate...

Why does MoD not increase Sorsha's dmg, even to SB lvl?

**Regen Rate**
Tested by using Growl of the Panther multiple times on every version of Pet.(obviously this screws regen numberical values, but NOT regen rate findings)
(Done in Guild Hall)

Sorsha findings:

Unfocused:
Drops to 73% with growl
3, 1, 2, 2, 3, 2, 3, 1, 3, 2, 2, 1, 2 regen rate after Growl of the Panther
*double speed regen rate  ie....  2 regens in a tic*

SB focus:
Drops to 75% with growl
4, 2, 4, 2, 5, 2, 4, 2 regen rate after Growl of the Panther
*double speed regen rate  ie.... 2 regens in a tic*

MoD focus:
Drops to 76% with growl
1, 3, 2, 2, 2, 3, 2, 2, 1 ,3, 2, 2, 2  regen rate after Growl of the Panther
*double speed regen rate  ie... 2 regens in a tic*

Allandu findings:

Unfocused:
Drops to 78% with Growl
7, 7, 8, regen rate after Growl

SB Focus:
Drops to 78% with Growl
8, 8, 6(assume 7), regen rate after Growl

MoD Focus:
Drops to 79% with Growl
7, 8, 7, regen rate after Growl

Sorsha makes sense, except for the super regen rate on SB as compared to MoD
Allandu....   makes almost no sense.
Weird thing is..  Allandu Regens itself all at one time, 7%,   Tic,   7%
Sorsha will go like...  1%, 3%, 1% in the time of a tic.

Poses very odd questions..
Why is Allandu's unfocused regen so incredibly high?
Why is there no regen bonus at all seemingly for SB/MoD on Allandu?

**HP**
These %s also mean Allandu is not 6100 hp unbuffed as I believed, had been told, and couldnt confirm.

(Done in Guild Hall.  These could be off by 100hp or even 200hp given how EQ rounds)
73% puts Sorsha at 5550ish, or 4050 unbuffed
75% puts Sorsha/SB at 6000 or 4500 unbuffed
76% puts Sorsha/MoD at  6250 or 4750 unbuffed

78% puts Allandu at 6810ish, or 5310 unbuffed
78% puts Allandu/SB at 6810ish, or 5310 unbuffed
79% puts Allandu/MoD at  7142ish, or 5630 unbuffed


My numbers could be all misdone... this was done with a shiny trinket of speed auged with DPoC, the new DoN item with MoD focus, by a lvl 70 beastlord with epic 1.5 if it matters.

Conclusions:
MoD is a decent HP buff for Sorsha, NO Regen, NO max hit increase.
SB is very weak HP focus for Allandu
MoD/SB do not increase Allandu's regen
