If your guild is doing this raid, be advised that Nature's Salve will cure the Gargoyle Illusion DT! At least rank 6 and higher will , I do not know if any lower ranks will.
The DT only has 16 curse counters. Rank 1 Nature's Salve is the self-only equivalent of Rank 4 Radiant Cure which cures 19 curse/poison/disease counters. Starting at rank 4, Nature's Salve cures our pet as well.
As far as the event goes, regular casting of Pally Splash (didn't exist back in DoD days) pretty much takes care of it for most of the raid. If you have to cure yourself, someone is slacking.
