Hobble of spirits 2

Is there a big difference between the 1st level and 2nd level? I was using the 1st level to try and keep mobs snared during an anguish aug run recently and it didn't work very well. I purchased the 2nd level and was hoping that would work. Anyone else have any experiences with it in CoA?

I'll admit to not using it in CoA (only been there once), but a few things to note.  Hobble rank 2 is 50% vs rank 1 at 40%.  Rank 2 has a -50 to resist check, rank 1 has none.  Logically, rank 2 should work better, but can't confirm first hand

I noticed a huge difference when I swapped to it.  It comes highly recommended from me.

I love it and use it all the time very rare that it does not snare the mob.

Cool, those are the answers I was hoping for. After having a couple mobs run off and bring back friends, I was getting kinda concerned about pet's ability to snare mobs. Glad to hear that those 9 aa's were well spent.

I remember the CoA mobs being pretty dang resistant to magic based spells too, so it would make sense that the rk2 makes a big difference.
