Does anyone happen to knwo the way to figure out what is the lowest level that can group up and get xp with a level 51 or any level higher level? I have seen the formula for it, but can't seem to find it now.

=/ meant to put this in campfire not library =/

Its usually 2/3 downwards or x1.5 upwards.

Level x 2 / 3 is the ratio. So 51 would be 51x2=102/3=34

Up is the easy way.....

47+23=70

so 47 and up can group with a 70 and get XP.

46 can get exp with a 70 too, so it must have some rounding down in there somewhere.

It doesn't round is the joy of it. If you use the formula I posted you get 46.6666666666666666666666666... can group with a 70 and get exp. The way EQ sees it is that it is a 46, not a 46.666666...

I believe it is (level * 1.5) +1
SOE did this a long time ago, adding the +1 for the odd number levels. The +1 is in effect for all levels.
As a level 35, you can gain exp with a level 53
