Server wide Bstepic channel?

And be prepared to put about 10 chatterboxes on ignore so you can stand to watch the channel. Normally I avoid the channel entirely, but it is an occasionaly source of info when looking for epic clues.

i joined briefly for about an hour last night. tons of foul language, and bashing of people who they claimed were trying to "steal epic info"

reminded me why i quit the channel so long ago. the channel is WAY different than the wonderful forums we have

Actually it was bitching about fairweather joiners trying to leech epic info when they did no work of their own :p

Ok...so the point is that if you figure something out yourself don't post it, link it, talk about it, or otherwise pass it on to "leechers"? Got it. Thanks.

No the point was, people in channel that have been in there for a long time, and recently been solving epic, are tired of random beastlords joining channel asking "Can i get a link to epic 1.5?" or "Did you finish epic 1.5 yet?" then leaving again

I have always been a person who loves quests.. just not much luck at being "the one" who solves them on my own.  Doesnt mean the effort isnt there.

Sorry if my actually staying in channel isnt appreciated because I never stayed in it before now.  Never had much of a reason to.

It's not the people who have just recently joined, that stay in the channel and contribute, that we have issue with.  It's the people who only pop in to ask for a link, or to ask for an answer on the step of the epic they're working on, and then leaving.  Or just popping in to ask for a link to XXX class's epic.  After seeing 500 people ask (or link) the necro's 1.5, or the shaman 1.5, etc.. some of us start to get a little irritated.

Yea, I love f'ing with the people crying about "leeches" by dropping in there and asking for bst epic 1.5/2.0 link everytime I log on.  So people come in and ask questions about it.  They can come here and read it just as easily.  Are they leeches for coming here?  What about all of you that have completed a flagging raid reading the strat of some other guild that did it.  Guess you are leeches as well.  Hell, I am glad to see some new faces in there, even if to gleen a little epic info.  It is refreshing to see at least something game related in there besides Tuz's whack off stories... :D

I've been in and out of serverwide since I heard about it over a year ago... and I "was" right up with everyone at the begining.. prolly the first on Bert to get the helm.. but the NPC turn-in in CT has stonewalled me.. unable to get to him as of yet... just need time to gather the right group of friends to get to him.

I have been monitoring channel as well as this website, and I try to help come up with any ideas that haven't been thought of yet.. call me a leech if you wish.. but only one person can find the solution to each clue.. EVERYONE else that gets to it after that based on serverwide or this forum could be lumped in as a leech as well.. including those telling us all to F' off....
