Even people who don't know me catch on quick when I refer to Rakshasa (though it's funny to see them look around for a bit). Regardless, I would vastly prefer to be able to /petname him.

Idiotic names bug me too, but I'd put up with it to be able to name Rakshasa properly.

there is a command to give your pet's name you know...
use it with my mage and his macroes....

also, i would LOVE to be able to actually name Zeke, Zeke...
even if it were an AA ability to name our pets i would still be AOK with it

that would be really awesome if you could change your warder's color .. back when the ldon augment changed our wolves to the color black, that was half the reason I purchased it right away!

but yeah, I could see how it would be hard for the dev's.  I'll settle for being able to name him instead  :wink:

I call mine dog dog (from my shammy days of misc named pets), Steve-Dave (from Kevin Smith movies-mainly a joke between a friend and myself) and more recently F-bomb (like my f*&%ing pet won't listen to back off if I get hit when pulling...must get pet hold asap!).
