Back in the day if you had 2 weapons with innate procs and then added proc augmentations to both weapons, all four procs would fire under normal combat, but when you hit Bloodlust the proc augment in the off hand would not fire.  If you had 4 lifetap procs you would lose one while using Bloodlust.

Fast forward to after the changes to procs and we see that all four procs fire normally even when activating Bloodlust.

Why is this important?  Bloodlust is a offensive AA...right?  It certainly is, but it can also be used as a defensive AA.  Everyone has a hot key for protective spirit right?  You probably have a hotkey to bandolier in a shield.  I have a hot key that swaps in a weapon set with 4 lifetap procs and activates bloodlust.  The quad procs with the damage AAs and healing AAs we have makes for some impressive self healing.  If things are really going south you can add in Protective Spirit or Monkey Spirit discs as Bloodlust stacks with either.

You won't be tanking any raid bosses any time soon, but tanking T3 named mobs when the tank goes down is certainly possible.
