Bear in perma

I just helped a friend take out the bear with my 2 boxed combo of 65 Beastlord and 65 Paladin.  For some reason I thought this bear was immune to stun, but my Paladin had no problem stunning the bear using the 2 "A" stuns (Force of Akilae and Force of Akera).  I did not get to try just regular stun to see if it works.  If regular stun works you could give your pet two gnoll hide lariats and really limit the amount of damage the bear produces.  I did see a couple of flurries and the nasty 400dd proc.

When I  was there the pally I was with said it was immune to all but her highest stuns, though it would still take damage.  I would imagine that  the gnollhide is too low a stun.

Gnoll hides stun up to level 55 which is what level the bear is as I recall.  If bear isn't flagged to immune or to simply not be affected by stuns then they should work.
