Newsflash: it's still garbage.
The results are up.
While the lengths of the parses differ (one is 15hrs, the other is 9), I don't think it's going to make a difference. If it's requested, I'll shorten the long one or lengthen the short one, but I don't expect anything to change.
I also believe these results are inaccurate for a Beastlord, simply because we are casting more instead of doing nothing but melee all the time. We won't see a 54 DPS increase because we'll be casting a lot more than anyone else.
I also plan on running these parses again as a high end rogue that I'm going to borrow, to see what kind of return they get.
I despize casting ferocity. It wastes my time and a spell slot, only time i bother casting is if we are doing a 'blow it up run' then ill slap it on my 2 targets who are a rog and a monk. The duration stinks, the cast time blows and the recast timer is rediculous. It is THE most useless spell memmed on normal raids for me. I really wish they would fit it. WHY oh why is there a silly recast timer???
/rant
lol
atk when no fero ?
atk with fero on ?
Fero spell used ?
same for rogue
I'll add all that in once I'm done parsing. I just finished a parse, buffed with basically raid buffs minus ranger stuff, and then I'm going to do another with Ferocity added onto that.
Any new parses? would really love to see a rogue and zerker in full burn mode compared with and without ferocity (yes, i know you need to automate some hotkeys for that).
It's vacation time at my store, and lucky for me, I get to cover most of it. My personal time is about nil and my raid attendance is suffering as well. I haven't forgotten about this but I just don't have the energy most times to get it all set up. Fortunately most of it should be wrapping up soon and it'll be my turn. :-D
links are broken or info has been taken down =(
The summary here was that it sucked. If you check the dates, these were from last expansion.
Nothing's changed.
Hey I am not seeing any links to the parses? Were they removed? Do you still have them and could I get them? I know the spell sucks but I'd like to see some numbers if I could to share with my guildmates.
So I make no grave mistake if I continue to just ignore the spell? 8-)
Well it comes up from time to time.
Best bet is to get it off 2-3 times before starting an event and then Fpara yourself and tell anyone who wants it during teh fight to buzz off.
I just was looking for some hard numbers - I just was being lazy and didn't wanna parse >.<
I had a few numbers I parsed but I no longer have access to them and can't remember the details /shrug
Without Fero @ 3084 atk
Test Ninety in 11712s, 16692k @1425dps --- Latang 11050k @943dps --- Latang`s pet 5642k @483dps (got bored waiting, and not much changed)
With Fero @ 3552 atk
Test Ninety in 21105s, 30363k @1439dps --- Latang 20384k @966dps --- Latang`s pet 9979k @473dps
Did them the day testcopy worked again. Posted them in guild board, and had no requests for fero since. Haven't memmed it since March, and no-one wants it now.
Weapon was fabled mainhand, tinkerson h2h offhand.
Also I had changed aa a bit to raise attack cap for 2nd test, hence the discrepancy. Purpose of it was to see if I needed to max the attack raising aa. So far it's still at zero...
Thanks

One worthwhile note is that crits bonus' effects don't seem to carry over, it's essentially the same % boost for normal as well as crit hits. Therefore melee class' crit rates are irrelevant when considering the effects of Ferocity.
