When you log in from the main page, www.beastlords.org, there is no option to have your login information saved, so when you come back you aren't signed in anymore.
Game on,
Hmm, mine always says "Welcome back JillieMT (Logout Now)" at the top when I arrive at the mother site.
Yes, it says that if you log in from the forum itself...it remembers it that way if you tell it to. If you log in from the front "mother" page, then when you come back it hasn't saved it (at least for me)...since you don't even get the option to have your browser remember it.
Game on,
This will be looked into shortly :)

Ohhhhh, I see. I don't think I have ever logged in from that page, so ignore me then! :P
Should be fixed now
Yep, that part was fixed...when logging in from the front page it remembered me after the box was checked. Unfortunately, it reset all of my unread posts. :(
What I did: signed in from the front page, didn't sign into the forum, but closed the browser and then came back to the front page to check if I was still signed in. I was, but when I went to the forum I didn't have any unread posts (and it had been about 5 hours since I had been on the forum, there were definitely new posts).
So, I don't know if the act of signing in on the front page cleared the unread flag, or the act of closing the browser, etc. This morning when I came to the forum on my laptop (the way I usually browse) there were many unread posts, so it's working fine here. But I haven't had to sign in on this computer for a while.
Game on,
The Front page of the main site never remembers me. I Enter name and PW and check the remember me box. Come back later and have to do it all again.
Most other sites I visit remember me just fine... well the EQLive site doesn't, but the EQ2 homepage does for some stupid reason.
Still can't replicate this error on any of my machines.
I was able to replicate the error and it was a conflict of mod_security and the patter the login script uses to authenticate. I fixed the issue and you should be able to login and logout now from the main page.
:)
It's not the issue we fixed tonight Kaspi, it's that it doesn't save the fact that users are logged in for a couple people. The vast majority it does work for.
