I'm sure many will say Mastery of the Past is a waste, but for 3 points I'm happy!

After fizzling invis six times in a row, all the while, watching a mob that hits for 1100 walk closer and closer, I decided to get this.

When invis landed, I popped open my AA skills list, selected Mastery of the Past, and hit train.

Soooooooooo much nicer now.  Dont see much use for the upper levels of it though, as most of my "fizzles" are on spells that are like invis, enduring breath (strange how many people at 65 dont have a EB item), lev, and frenzy.

Train your divination skill up and invis won't fizzle. Imo this AA is very bottom of my AA list, because I hardly ever cast other pre58 lvl spells than:
invis
sow
levitation
incapitate when tanking/offtanking (very rarely)
shifting shield (very rarely)
chloroplast only when soloing (very rarely)
Ice shard (I'll prolly stop casting this when I get GoD nuke)

Not fizzling these spells not worth AAs spent imo.

I can't remember the last time Invis fizzled on me. You really need to cap out your Divination skill.

well after 120 or so days played divination is nearly maxed trhough regular use, wuwu!

My spell skills have been maxxed for an incredibly long time and I still used to fizzle several invises in a row.  It has a high fizzle adjustment and is a fairly high level spell for us.

The first level of mastery is only 3 points, which was like an hour and a half of aaxp work in one of the planes for me.  It was easily worth the time investment not to fizzle the spells below 53.

The other two levels are definitely on the bottom of my list, however.  Maybe I'll get them before Packrat (i.e., probably never)

I agree, level 1 is great even with high (not quite maxed) Divination.  Invis is just an annoying spell.  Only way I'd ever get Level 3 is if it worked on Protection of Calliav... :P
