Ok I have my 6 aa in general and 6 aa in Arch I am about to get my 6th AA banked am I able to get Paragon or do I have to spend 12 total in Arch..

Kashmiir Battlekat

In order to begin training anything in Class AA's you must:

Spend 6 AA's in General.
Spend 12 AA's in Arch

This is a total of 18 AA's prior to training anything in Class. There is also a level 59 restriction on Class AA's.

Generally speaking most people train Run3, Regen3 then Spell Casting Reenforcement3 prior to obtaining Paragon of Spirit.

I asked this on that other board, but then I found this one, so I probably won't go back to get the answer.

Does SCR3 effect paragon? Does it make it last longer and give more mana/hp? I keep seeing conflicting information and am pretty much just confused now.

Thank you..

Paragon is not a buff, not affected by SCR.

Noriko,

I am under the impression that SCR does effect Paragon. I would consider Paragon a buff because it cast like a buff and takes up a buff slot when you cast it. If I have my buff bar maxed (15 buffs) and I cast paragon on the group it doesn't cast on me or anyone else who has a maxed buff bar.

Paragon Description

This ability allows the Beastlord to share some of his natural attunement with his party in the form of health and mana. It is an activated ability with a refresh time of 00:15:00. It will give 1200 hit points and 480 mana over 36 seconds. When combined with Spell Casting Reinforcement 3, the effect can be extended to 1600 hit points and 640 mana over 48 seconds.

That's odd, I've never see mine last longer than 36 sec ... let me go test it again tonight.

SCR3 has always worked on Paragon.  Even focus items (Eterninostrum) used to work on it, but they don't anymore.

Dakat

Anything over 36 or 48 seconds is affected if you have SCR 3?

I remember reading somewhere that there was a minimum duration the spell has to last for the effect of SCR to work.  Looked thru casters realm and Allahkazam's and couldn't find anything.  Anyone know where that was written down?

Kherryn

Is there any spell that lasts under 18 seconds (3 ticks)?  Yaulp and DA for clerics last 18 seconds normally, but 27 seconds with AA.  It doesn't matter duration, it's innate.

Tastian

The "min" duration is based loosly on your rank of SCR.  What I mean is if a spell only lasts 1 tick you aren't going to extend it with SCR3 or even SCRM.

Classes: SHM/65
Duration: 4 ticks

That's the detail for Q for shm and it's effected by both SCR3 and SCRM.  I've never seen a "min" duration for SCR, just a duration so low that the effects of SCR don't make it better.  Kind of like certain dots that are so low in damage burning affliction doesn't do anything for them.  Now focus effects on the other hand do have a min duration.

EEIV...

1:  Increase Spell Duration by 15%
2:  Limit: Max Level(65)
3:  Limit: Spell Type(Beneficial only)
4:  Limit: Effect(Complete Heal (with duration) excluded)
5:  Limit: Effect(Invunerability excluded)
6:  Limit: Min Duration(48.00 sec)
7:  Limit: Effect(Reaction Radius excluded)

#6 limits spells that have a 48.00 sec BASE duration.  Even if your spells starts off at 36 and SCRM pushes it to 48, the focus still doesn't kick in.  Hope that was clear, good luck.
