Spell Recast

I've noticed recently when I try to cast slow repetitively, my spell gem refreshes, but when I try to cast, it stops.  I get no fizzle message, but it stops casting like it fizzled. 

I seem to remember this being a problem before, but I thought it got fixed.  Anyone else having this problem?

I am still having this issue with my nuke that is in that slot 1.

follow-up: do you use a customized UI?

I've not swapped back to default yet to test if it does it there.  I'm assuming so tbh.

Aye had the same issue with a cold nuke a bit back.. During fighting my slot 1 is pretty much busted so I put Haste or something there that usually that I cast in between pulls.
