Can our pets hit magical NPC

yes they can, at level 15 or 22, I don't recall.  Most probably it was 15.

They can at level 15. Learned the hard way at 12 when I tried to take out a wisp. Fluffy couldn't hit it. Maybe if I had given him a magic weapon he would have...
