Copper Medal of War

For those of you having trouble with the copper medal of war, I have some info for you.
First you need to make sure that the general gives you text in red stating that we have no control over <certain> camp.
Second when you hail the scouts or veterans make sure that when you say <ready to go> they give you more text, if not they will just turn to look at you. Nothing else will happen (I petitioned this several times over the past 2 weeks)
Third be sure that you are buffed and ready to go since they will take off at base run speed and might even lose you if you don't watch them carefully.
Fourth when they stop state the text <ready to begin> quickly cause they will run off on you. Clear the camp they lead you to until either the copper medal of war drops OR the officer becomes targettable. Make sure you loot each corpse.
I did this quest today solo at 59 with kei and HoV easily. I never dropped below 50% health.
