I don't see a skills page link on the front page. Is there one?
I also don't login automatically like I do to every other site I have that set for.

I bookmarked the frontpage http://beastlords.demonshouse.net/ ...I then use the messageboard link from there.
One note, the main page is http://beastlords.org/ or http://www.beastlords.org/, the demonhouse ones could be removed at some point.
Basically, try to go to the same address each time. There are a few different addresses that work at this time but in the future some could be phased out.
I've had no problems with the site logging in and i've used IE, Mozilla & Mozilla Firebird to login form multiple machines.
What browser & version are you using?

explorer 5.5, but It only doesn't remember me after a powerdown. As long as I signed in once without power-cycling, it always remembers.

Have you checked your cookie settings? It sounds like they aren't being saved properly.
where is the cookie setting and what should it be set at?
I don't have problems with other forums which leads me to think the cookies aren't restricted.
Or, are you runnign a program like Window Washer, etc that clears cache, cookies, history, etc out when you reboot / shutdown?

Cookie settings are under Tools -> Internet Options -> Privacy.
