Need some ideas on upgrades please.

Hi, sorry to bother you folks with yet another one of these. I don't really know much of the new stuff that's coming out with GoD and OOW. I'm lvl 45 currently, hope to be close to 50 by tomorrow evening. Anyway, I was wondering if anybody would be able to look over my magelo and present some ideas on upgrades? I've got just over 4kp atm, but seem to be coming across it fairly well, so I would be able to buy equipment that is a bit higher in price. Thanks for your time.

Sleeves of Contriction would be a good upgrade from your Acryila Sleeves.

Lodizal Shield is a sweet back item, with Enduring Breath.  (Check my Magelo)

Ring(s) of Valorium would be nice to.

Another item i find that almost mandatory, especially if you can afford it is Bone-Studded Loop.  Yes its recommeneded 60 but you'll love it for the extra nuke power ;)  I tended to buy stuff that was higher recommened level when i could just so I had decent gear to work into.

90% of what i have there is what i've had since i was mid 45-55.

Start saving for Ornate Boots you'll love the FT3 on them.

Might look into an idol of the wavecrasher for your range slot. Nice resists and there are two for ~400pp on the Namelss as I write this. In theory would be a similar relative level of cheapness wherever. A very minor (but cheap maybe) upgrade to your arms might be some brined armbands. I also enjoyed my moss covered cape for back slot. Has a recommended level of like 58 I think so you may want to head to the 'zaar and see what the stats would be for you now. It is also cheap on my server (under 1.5k).  Anyway, just some ideas.

Thanks for the ideas. I'm now able to use my shield of valor in the range (lvl 46 req) I'll look into that idol tho too, as I could use the resists.

Quick question... which would be better to work towards? Final Coldain shawl, or Spirit Wracked Chorde

At your level I think both would require some decent help to achieve. I would say though look to doing both even though the SWC is almost OBE with OOW - at least you can stick it in 3 different slots. The other thing is if you have it in the back of your mind to do either/both quests it gives you something to do outside merely leveling.

The coldain prayer shawl is hands down the best quest (IMO) for your shoulder slot at your level.  Well, it's actually the best shoulder slot item for your level period.

It seems there is a disparity among shoulder slot items that are droppable or campable by a sub 60 beastlord toon.  As it stands right now, I'm 2 boxing in ferubi for a mantle of ferociousness.  I've been wearing an obulus death shroud since level 1.  The mana pres was great up to level 60, however now it is just a waste of a slot.

I definitely recommend doing the coldain prayer shawl quest, especially at your level.  You won't regret it.

Ok. I was gonna wait till 65 to work on it, as I wanna get there as fast as I can. Once I hit 65, i'm gonna do all the tradeskill AA's (minus new tannan for now) and get all up to 200, then i was gonna do the shawl. At the rate I'm going, i should be 65  by the end of november, so I'll have all of Dec (minus raid time) to work on the trades and quest.

I wasn't sure how long the shawl would be good for, but if it's still one of the best, then hell ya, I'll do it.

Take out the spaces under the asterisk

lol that didn't work. Take out the spaces just after or just before an open or close brace. Then for your test hit preview and not submit (kinda like I should have done)
