Hey all,
So with the intro of Bestial Vivisection and Flurry of Claws discs.... how are you guys weaving this into your attacks?
did you just add both to a hotkey with Foray (or the new upgrade if you are that high), kick, and Feral Swipe?
I have BV on its own for now since as others have discussed, it blocks protective spirit or EF if I need them.  This sucks as I have to keep clicking it -- but I read there a few suggestion from you all on how to pause it or stop it if I want to click PS or EF... again more hotkeys... more clicking God!

However in regards to Flurry of Claws, I added that to my hotkey and between using BV and adding Flurry of Claws and using the older ones, I am suffering hard on endurance.  I have NEVER ever worried about my endurance -- yet now it's ridiculous.  With focused Para and group Para... I am doing ok on mana and in fact I think I can nuke more for sure.. but these discs are killing me.

I know Flurry of Claws hits up to 3 targets.  Do you folks use it as just part of your regular attack or is situational?

Still the playing-around stage for most of us...too early to have solid patterns down.

For Flurry of Claws, you're just asking for grief if you put it, or any AE, on a spam key. You'd then be the one who breaks mezzes or aggros non-aggro mobs. If you aren't aware of when you use it, you're better off not using it at all. AE's are new to beasts...some are going to learn the hard way.

I see lots of deaths but will learn, was same thing that Rangers had to go through with HoA, the smaller range on Flurry (half of HoA distance) will make it much easier to deal with though.

Doesn't Flurry have a much much much wider arc than HoA though?

Was thinking on more on burn runs like when you are on a named in group or in raid but on the boss man with nothing else around.  Anyhow I have removed it from my hotkey and now it sits by itself like Vivisection.

as a 4 boxing  BST  i do use alot of  keys myself.......
My Question is  how with the /pause involved  how would i set up a hot key to do the suggested up top which is everything  cept flurry of claw since  it is recommended tht  AE  not be included into serious  DPs hotkey

i was thinking something like this
line 1: bestial viv
line 2: /pause1, /flurry of claws
line 3:/pause 1, /foray
line 4: /apuse 1, /feral swipe
line 5: /Chameleon Strike
EQ force multiplier.......BEASTLORDS, the other white meat

I made second hotkey /sigh that so far just has Bestial Vivisection and Roar of Thunder on it. I didn't want Vivisection on with my other attack hotkey since I understand it won't stack with Empathic Fury, so I wouldn't be able to use that hotkey (foray, kick, Chameleon Strike and so on) till EF had run its course. LIke stated above I left Flurry as its own button because of the ae portion.

Yes you are right, didn't notice it was that much larger, the arc is huge 320-40. Ok that might make it a bit harder to take into account :P

Is something else blocking Vivisection? I noticed that sometimes it won't fire, but I don't see anything that looks like it could block it.

EF and Protective Spirit or actually any disc that has a duration that is more than instant.  Only things I've noted thus far.

Eatmice

Nimbin

I've noticed that the Bestial Vivsection hotkey refreshes before the actual disc timer runs its course, so BV may be running another tick or 2 if you mash the hotkey everytime it un-greys out.

Ranar

at first on beta it had recast of 24sec's and duratin of 30 sec's .. then was changed to 30 recast 30 duration.. maybe the recast is bugged to 24 . i never really look at it  .

It appears to be extended by our buff extension AA's. The duration of Warder's Vivisection is 50 sec for me and it fades as the same time as Bestial Vivisection.

Grbage

I've been noticing a bug with disc in general. They stop running but it takes several seconds before you can actually start another disc. That might be what you are seeing.
