Savage Platinum Fist drop

Hello all,

I finally got Fire flagged last night and of course the first thing that comes to mind is getting my pet weapon. Can any of you beastlords with Fire experience clue me in as to how long I can expect to have to camp these? I seem to have read stories of people getting them right away and some people camping them for hours. If I was to get a decent exp group going near the zone in could I expect to get them to drop in one day?

In a day of killing in field one you can expect to spawn the rares several times (3 of them). If you have my luck you'll get lots of Belts and Candles...

I never actually stayed there in fire and tried to get the different mobs to spawn.

Best I found, was to check right after Servers came up from a patch or downage.

Basically the fist's are a Rare drop off a Rare spawn. If you got friends that dont mind hangin there for HOURS its all good.

If not, do the above....

Guess I got lucky. Got pet claws yesterday after killing for 90 min. Then today got belt after 2.5 hours. Not 1 candle :twisted:

Just spent about 2 hours killing in Field 1. Started out pulling really slowly because I was tanking and only had a friend doing cleric/necro 2-boxing. Then some Time-geared friends joined us and we ended up clearing all of Field 1. Not a single mob up by the time we were done. Saw the Wild Fiery Steed once. Dropped the candle. :(

Will be back there tomorrow. :)

Killed everything that moves in that area for a couple 2 hour sessions now and I have seen two candles and one Ft belt drop.

I am really kind of sad that I haven't been lucky enough yet, but I will keep trying.

I'm Sol Ro away from Fire. Really looking at the SPF to help me out so I'll be dragging my group there a lot. Good luck!

If you are patient you will probably catch them rotting or kill the named on the way to a raid, all 5 beastlords in our guild have them and not one of them got 'em from camping field one, we were in fire less than 3 weeks before we all had them. We may have just been lucky though

The drop rate was alot higher when POP first came out - but its pretty rare now.

It took me 6 months to get them - but its all a matter of luck. It does help that whe I was there we were the 2nd guild in PoF and now there are many more. Too late for the high drop rate- too soon for many people to be in there and have them drop. Most days I went in there - none was even in there and I had to get a guild group.

Should be better now...

I got my Flag a Sarurday night and then got the claws sunday morning. I used a druid, cleric, me, warrior, pally, and something else. We had a fun time pulling the Queen from the Field (was a pain).

i logged on after i got home from school one day and there they were :) helps me save dkp for elemental, as i dont have to waste it on a nice weapon, when battle fists and SPF will last me through xegony kills (i hope)

also i dont mean to hijack the thread but my guild just killed fennin last night for the first time :) and we just killed RZ solo for the first time last week. i know he's the easiest of the 4 elem gods, but what a rush! it was amazing. thats why i play this game :) good luck to everyone on getting SPFs who still needs them. I bet with the GoD pet AA's maxed, and with WA5, it is some nice added dps. sadly, i only have level one in flurries/crits/weaponaffinity so i will have to wait a while to open up the others

Well, my lust for SPF's has tapered a bit since picking up a Rune Etched Bamboo Bo on a pickup raid of Jiva last week. However, it is still a goal of mine to own a pair. Hate to see all these posts of Fists rotting! :P

Sol Ro is easier than RZtW imo. Less effort to get to him when you plan to fight him, no adds, and his gimptastic AE. I suspect Sol Ro is 4 groupable.

RZtW might actually be 3 groupable as well, but his event timer would probably run out before you could finish the ring.
