xbox2/pc gaming hybrid

It's not definite that it will but if xbox's new console can play eq1 or eq2 with a decent framerate would you use it over your comp?

I've been recently wondering if the ps2's console had the capability to play eq1 as is rather than create eqoa which from what I read is still far buggier and a struggle to enjoy more than eq1.  

Personally for me it'd be a godsend.  While it doesn't have the expandabitlity, as long as its' decently beefy from the getgo it should be all I need for the next couple years since I don't want expandabilty.  I don't get a new comp but every 5-6 years which is a consoles typical lifespan anyways.  With the way tv's are quickly hitting monitor lvl clarity I'd much rather play from my couch than my comp desk also.
