EQWindows... download?

Where can I find this?

I looked at www.eqwindows.com, but the last update to that site is almost a year old (version 2.35a or something).

Is that the most current version? Or did this relocate somewhere else?

There is no newer version because once EQ can be played in a window, there is no need for EQW any more.

Blah - there sure is!

EQW handles your in-game gama settings. EQ in windowed mode is, for me, terribly dark. EQW isn't.

That older version works just fine.

Also 2 EQ sessions of windows mode is MUCH MUCH more resource demanding than 2 EQW sessions.

Give that little gem of a program a try. EQW is still much better then running without but that thing will help no matter which you use.

I recently went from Win2k to WinXP and found out you can't Alt+Tab between windows... I was pissed until I went and tried out EQW and not only can I change the setting so now I can alt tab between windows, but it's instantaneous alt tabbing which I never had before.

One satisfied EQwindows user here!

While I prefer EQW as well... you can easily fix the alt-tab problem when using XP. You just need the compatibility toolkit from MS. Here's a link from the Druid's Grove laying it out.
