Question about other loot after final fight

Just did the Griplan fight.  Had one chast that dropped this:

A chest can spawn from a given epic fight once per 24 real hours.

They must have just fixed this recently then, was first on server with epic and didn't have a chest spawn on any encounters.

SO far in the last few days of helping people do epics I have had the following items drop.

I beleive the chests all can drop the same items, its just a case of having the person at that stage in the epic looting the peice, although most of those fights have to be spawned by the respective class.

We did do Dragorn Champion for a warrior in our guild who didn't know you had to do it in the right order and no chest popped surprisingly.

Did the rogue fight in Abys Sea last night, no chest.

Very surprising considering the difficulty of the fight.  May have been because we wiped the first time - 12 people ~ele level

Like many new encounters, beast slow just would not land.  We had 2 beasts chaining slow for the first fight without success.  The second fight, I boxed my shaman.  Malo, beast slow still did not land, sham slow resisted 1x, got it the 2nd cast only to see a freaking PARTIAL message.

Why even bother wasting the time to try and slow anymore?

Sorry, I and some other people here like to know about encounters.  I have been helping friends and m8s get their epic fights.  This is the 4th multi-group progression (meaning not final) fight I have been in where the mob is only partially slowable.

It is not a whine to say why bother.  I will conceed however that since this is a loot topic, it was a misplaced afterthought.
