New Pet AA

Just curious what  you all might think about an AA that would allow us to use our warders as mounts, kinda the same idea as the paladin and SK's get mounts.

Imo a beast normally dont need a mount, but thats just me. When buffing much maybe it could be useful, but that aint often

It would probably cause a lot of hub bub over in the Necro and Mage communities.  So lets go for it!  JK.

Since it would probably only move at sow speed I wouldn't expect any benefit from it.  I can't see them making it selos speed, still leaving the knight's mounts as the fastest (along with, if I recall correctly, one dropped bridle), even if SOE went for the general idea.

But I already have a mount, the slowest, used for regenning mana after my increasingly high rate of deaths, so don't count my vote. 

How come I only die when I'm grouped?

I don't have a mount and probably never will.  I can sow myself (or get the swift journey aa at some point) and run where I need to be.  During down time I simply sit and med.  Sometimes on Raids I can't sit most zones don't let mounts in anyway.  As far as single group, fighting while mounted is pointless, hard to manuver and while atk is on you don't get the med bonus's

I'd rather see a set duration self invisable.

If i ever get too tight on cash, I'll just sell the silly silk bridle I got while farming shissar scales ;p

I don't like the horses in general bcs of the slow start/stop.. tend to overshoot things a when I actually pull it out.

Hehh.. I can't remember last time I got sow'd.  NEVER use it after getting run5.  Prolly flat out best AA in GoD.. even better than pet affinity.

Why do you say that, Kanan?  Just wondering.  For me, Run5 is mainly a convenience (one less buff slot, and constant indoor SoW).  Pet Affinity, on the other hand, adds significantly to my pet's power and durability in terms of bard boosts, healing and mgb/group buff (does Salik's add to pet crit potential?)

It was cheaper.. and of permanent, constant use, solo or group or raid.  Not needing the buff slot was so nice.  its just so nice to be able to outrun the mobs, run past em in b/w the ticks so you don't agro and know that will always be there (i got to tacvi from txevu zi, running over a kyv and past the golems, w/o agro last night.. i felt badass ;p)

its a very close thing to be honest. I got both of these back at original costs, so it was 15aa for run 5 and 20 for PA.  The 2 abilities are very close.. reason I said "Prolly ... the best". 

Also counting in poor pet survivability too.

I have the fastest droga money can buy and I have to tell you, it spoils me  :-D .   I pop up on a mount while buffing so I don't get extra aggro from sitting and the selo speed rocks when running across zones!  Sure, it's a big hit to the wallet at 130k, but at level 70 you can collect rares and sell them in the bazaar or to those bartering for the items and make that easily in less than a month (besides, what you going to spend it on at that level when you can earn DoN crystals or raid for decent gear?).  Worth it in my opinion.
