Do pets regen faster if sitting? My first tests seem to indicate that it makes no difference. Any definitive word?

p.s. I did use the search function, didn't see any answer

In my epxerience, a pet will regen much faster if it is sitting down rather than standing.  It is alot faster from my observations but I have not timed it so therefore I cannot say that it has been clinically tested =P. I do know that an unfocused level 64 plus pet seems to regen alot faster than a minnion of darkness plus  focused pet of the same level. Was this ever discussed with the devs?

In the example you cite, I suspect the regen rates are identical. The focused pet would have more HP, so naturally the bar health bar would appear to move slower for what is actually the same amount of healing. You would see the same illusion if you used small heal spells on the pet.

I think summoner's boon affects the level 64 pet differently.... but i could be wrong.

Or Minion of Darkness.
MOD never seemed to help 64 pet alot that I recall, I put something in the warder topic for focuses, but can't remember where that is atm since had little sleep.

But I think generally Summoner's boon seemed better for a 64 pet than MoD if I recall.  Not sure if its because MoD never used to work on our pet or what.
I have MoD and MoE, i'll see if I still have my summoner's boon aug.. and if not, I think I have around 2000 ldon points wasting away.

As far as topic creator.
I remember seeing a difference in the lower levels, before focuses.  Honestly when I got summoner's boon at that level, sitting didnt really affect it much as it already regened so fast.

Sorsha isnt helped by MoD except for HP buffed a lil

Summoner's boon I think just doesnt help much on 68 or 70 pets
and MoD is just messed up I believe on 64/62

I'll run MoE through a try or two when time permits.

At lower levels I think it does help but it was years ago that I was lower level so who knows now. I want to say you had to do /pet sit down in order for him to actually sit. The problem is/was that overrides previous commands to guard. In the end I think it helps about as much as timing your sit/stand and cast to "catch the tick" - does it help? Sure. Does really make all that much difference? No

I don't know the answer, but I am willing to bet it makes no difference.  And if it does, it's going to be so negligible that will be hardly noticeable.  That's just my "gut".
