If you suddenly start to get crash problems its likely because you have 2 different brands of ram now- yes, it can be that picky, especuially on AMD boxes.

That's good to know.  When I bought the current computer I have, it came with 512 MB of RAM.  I assumed it was all in 1 stick, so I bought another one to get a total of 1 GB.  Well, it turned out that I had 2 sticks of 256 MB.  So I just replaced one with the 512 stick.  Strange things were afoot with my computer after that.  I was wondering if it was some kind of power thing, since the provided power supply is only 300 W.  In any case I took out the memory and returned it.  I just put in a NVidia GeForce FX 5500 OC with 256 MB a few weeks back, and everything seems to be running fine...no crashes or anything...so I assume the power supply is good enough (at least with one instance running, I haven't tried 2-boxing yet which is one reason I made the upgrade).  Although I need to upgrade the drivers to the almost-latest ones to take advantage of Directx 9.0b I think.
