Pete Rose - In or Out?

All you baseball fans out there, what do you think?

Should Pete Rose be allowed into the Hall of Fame?

Should he be allowed to participate in baseball events?

Should he be allowed to Manage a team again?

Personally, I think that he should not be allowed to go into the Hall of Fame, or be at events, or Manage. I could live with it if he was allowed into the Hall of Fame, but I think its a mistake. It sends the message that performance on the field supercedes all rules, and although top players DO get away with more than most, do we let betting on your own teams games go? I would never trust a game again. Is he having a bad day, or is he tanking it to save energy for tomorrows game 'cuz he has $10,000 on it?

The truly great players eventualy only care about one thing, the Hall of Fame. You can't take away the money, you can't take away the memories,you can't take away the records; you can only take away the ultimate goal.... the Hall of Fame.

Letting Pete Rose manage a team again would to me be the same as staying at EQBeastlord.com. Condoning the behavior. If he manages again, I'm done with baseball.
