my only gripe with the spell is that they removed the -20 resist mod back on beta. I really like the prism skin though.

Also has the same problem as the Calliav line.. damage shields often burn up the prism skin effect as soon as it lands, rendering it rather worthless against a lot of trash mobs.  While calliav wouldn't normally be used against trash due to the high cost of it, this spell has a lot of potential to be.

pardon the bump, but I cannot find anything regarding the exact effect of prism skin. what does it do?

It's a one-hit AE / Rune. Imagine you're on a raid, fighting some boss, and it AE's for 10k.

If your pet has Prism Skin up, the Prism Skin takes the AE, fades, and your pet takes no damage.

The same goes for melee hits, although it's only one hit. Something double attacks it? It only takes one attack instead of both.
