The battle in there can be done by :

-with 2 BL 65 ?

-with 3 BL 65?

We are 3 BL, RL friends and we thinking of doing it.  but we want to be able to do it both 3 without others helps.  Because maybe we will not find helper to do it.

Maybe with 3 Feral Lords/Ladies... I've run across the first wave (3 tracking wolves and 1 dire wolf) 3 times now up in Iceclad. Bugged spawn or something. Anyway all 4 were up and I tried all 4 at once initially and realized very quickly I had to zone. I went back and cast slow on one and sent pet in on another. Ran away with the one slowed/aggroed on me and let other 3 kill pet. Basically split them (they forgot me after I got far enough away) and still needed to summon warder to deal with 1 at a time. Didn't have General to worry about though.

The waves are 4-5 giants or wolves and letting the General tank one isn't a good idea. So you need at least 5 tanks (3 bst = 6 tanks) and a healer that isn't tanking would be a good idea. I would suggest getting 2-3 more people to do the "General Walk" including 1-2 dru/clr/shm for heals/buffs and 1 enc/brd. Having someone to "mem blur" an accidently aggroed General is strongly advised.

Did the 'Walk the General' for my druid with group consisting of 65 bst/mnk/clr/shm and druid 63. Had zero problems with any of the fights, and took about 25 mins from hand in to receiving shawl.

Should be able to do it with one group of 65s.  I've done it with as few as 8, and it was massive overkill.

With less than that: I've had the same experience with the wolves, and tried to kill them with two people, also zoning out.

ok ty will head for a full group then to do its. thanks

Is the quest is start when you give a item? or we have to wait for a long spawn in East Waste to start that battle?

I asking this because we will be 3 Beastlords doing that quest.  So we want to do it 3 time in a row, so if we engage 3 more poeple to help us, we want to do it with that group for those 3 BL...  Maybe we will have to give money to the helpers if no one interrested just "HELP" us.  with PP we will get more help i think.  Like 5k for each helper :-) for 3 general walker.

I'm not sure what the spawn time is on the General after each walk.  I think you have to wait, could be a long time, but I'm not sure.

There is usually one drop from each ambush, roughly.  Not great, but tracking wolf collar, drakkel wolf claws, some ax, etc.

General respawn is 4 hours.

In response to the top post.  3 BLs can handle all the mobs, the problem is making sure the General does not suicide.  3BL + 1 would be the best.  The extra person just pull the general away while the fights ensue.  So, a monk (FD), necro (FD, no pet), chanter (mem blur, no pet), or cleric (Atone, no pet), should all work nicely.

Oh, if you get a healer along, the fights will go a lot faster.  You can probably get it done in 45 minutes.  Otherwise, you'll have to stop and heal and Paragon, etc.
