Level 65, still got Shissar Gauntlets on. I know there's upgrades in ldon (MMC is more likely that Guk since no one ever wants to do guk), and I think theres a nice pair of gauntlets that drop in Takish on hard. Any other suggestions, that don't require a large raid? (I'm not elem flagged or anything like that)

Agree with the ornate suggestion. There are some other nice alternatives out there, but I stumbled across an Ornate pattern for around 4k and couldn't say no. 8)

I'm going to have to agree, the pristine jeweled gloves are better than the ornate gloves.
I bought them during the time prices where hiked in the bazaar so i can't really give a difinitive price, but from what i've seen they range from 45-75k on the Firiona Vie Server.

Guantlets of Dragon Slaying (http://www.magelo.com/eq_item_info.html?num=25857) are pre-EP/VT gloves that give 75hp/mana and 41% haste. Requires faction work and the head of Yelinak, but definitely doable with a small raid force and some skill (and then patience, lots and lots of patience!)
