If this does drop from Bristlebane then we got ourselves a very nice pre-Xegony/Time weapon. Don't need any flags at all to try Bristlebane too. I'm not up to date with PoM at all and my guild tried the "new" B-Man once and failed. How does killing him compare to getting Tactics flag+killing TZ?

From what I heard from a guild on Veeshan that has killed him.  He is a major PITA and unless the loot has been upgraded wasn't worth the hassle.

Stats are better but would probably do similar dps as an aug'd up Hidden Slave orb or a battle fist, 17/20, 18/20, 18/20, i try not to count the elemental damage when choosing weapons :p

Would be an upgrade (slight) to the battlefist due to the higher, and non-variable damage of the proc, and the aforementioned bane damage thingy.  Not really worth upgrade a battlefist to this, but it's a nice looking weapon.

From what I hear/read BB is a major pain. Banishes people if you have more than Doug Adams would like. Would be a fun mob to do but it seems like Khati Sha guilds that can do him don't feel like it due to PoP advancing and guilds who would like to do them would get destroyed.

Again I have no idea if it does drop from Bristlebane, but look at the proc..
