Anyone using pacify to pull and have the resists decreased with the new "improved" resist check that just went in?

The reason I started pet pulling was because pacify line quit being reliable. Now pet pulling is out and they're trying to fix pacify line again. I hope it works. Anyone else remember when the pacify line was fixed in about 2002. That worked out, was when harmony got the nerf bat and harmony of nature was born.

The resist changes weren't implemented.

Ouch. Do you know if they are going to be introduced later?

The resist issue is discussed by Rashere here:
http://eqforums.station.sony.com/eq/board/message?board.id=Veterans&message.id=274365

and it includes this:
" In a good system, appropriate level spells should land most of the time, but not all of the time, against appropriate level NPCs.  Because of the narrow range on the older system, that isn't the case currently."

Doesn't matter anyway as clerics don't get a calm spell in next set. Chanters get one called Quiet Mind and so do Bards but the reaction radius goes to 15 feet up from 10 in last set and 1 in spell set before that. Druids and Rangers don't get a new calm spell either?

That leaves essentially Bards who can fade of resists and fd types for pulling, which can be slow. I hope I'm missing something. Maybe they'll give Paladins a calm spell again.

Actually the new resist system wasn't suppose to go in but I think something got borked from them trying to roll back to pre new resist system. Anyway, I want to say I read a dev post saying it should be fixed next patch....whenever that might be.

Remember to have your CHA as high as possible, since it is better to be resisted and get no aggro.
