Heyas. I was looking for some concise pet info for my new Necromancer, and I realized that there really wasn't any golden repository anywhere.

So I made one.

Please feel free to take a look at http://samanna.net/eq.general/pets.shtml and let me know what I got wrong, so I don't mislead others. Also, suggestions to improve it would be welcome.

Thanks!

Thank you for not making the mistake of assuming (as so many do) that pet power numbers are actual percentages. They're really just indexes into a hidden table that can contain anything SOE wants.

Spirit of Flame and Spirit of Snow procs are MINUS 50 hate. This is what made them special. They're also the only early procs that were somewhat hard to obtain.

Spirit of Wind has a knockback, which is also unique among bst procs. There is no hate modifier.

I'm pretty sure all the other bst procs are +50 hate.

Spirit of Lairn is only 150 proc rate, not 200.

Recheck the spell data on Spirit of Jeswin. The only numbers that look right are the proc amounts.

Not sure which chart you got some of that info from, but it's not one I'd rely on. I know I've seen better ones, at least for pre-TSS stuff.

Also, you may want to add the Spirit of Leopard/Panther/Puma line. While it's a player buff as well as a pet buff, it's a pet buff first and cannot be used without one. Short term, but +20 damage modifiers aren't to be sneered at.

There's a third level of AA pet snare now.

Growl of the Leopard/Panther/Puma. Spirit is the shammy proc buff

Samanna

Thanks!

I made those changes; Jeswin was a copy/paste/forget_to_edit, not sure how I introduced the other errors.

I added Growl of the Beast/Leopard/Panther, can't find Puma.

Added Frothing Vengeance, too.

What's the name of the snare?

Hit refresh to reload new version.

Thanks much. :)

One nice potential addition - the levels at which pets start to dual weild.  Nice for those not power-levelling to know when to use high dmg 2-handers vs. one handers.  NFC what those are now for any of the classes :).

Frothing Vengeance doesn't exist in-game - it was one of those TSS giant spells that didn't go live.

You also might want to mention that, for now at least, Lockfang Jaws is identical to Steeltrap Jaws.

TURNCOAT!!!!!

Thanks, will get those fixed.

Level 80 stun on Jeswin, and it gets the same 1-hit block it's predecessors do.

Tiroon

Thank you for making the compilation.

Spirit of Snow/Flame were highly desirable not just for the hate reducing proc, which in fact took some getting used to. Those were the first pet procs whose stun had no nuisance knockback and more than just minimal duration (for me at least - Spirit of Wind's stun was changed from 0.0 sec to 1 sec in December 2004 when I had already outleveled the spell). Adding the stun duration to the max level that can be stunned would be a worthwile addition to the chart imho. Enough of my ramblings, here is the data:

Spirit of Wind 1 sec
Spirit of the Storm 1.5 sec Hate +200 rather than the standard 50 noted at the moment in the chart
Spirit of Snow 2 sec
Spirit of Flame 2.5 sec
Spirit of Relic 2.75 sec
Spirit of Irionu 1.5 sec
Spirit of Oroshar 1.5 sec
Spirit of Lairn 1.5 sec
Spirit of Jeswin 1.5 sec

One piece of information I would like to see included on your page: As Tulisin says in his excellent post on the mage board STA (from buffs or gear) is wasted since it does nothing for a pet's HP. I know there was a dev post about this a while ago confirming that it didn't do anything for HP even though the pet's stats actually went up but I cannot find it anymore.

http://samanna.net/eq.general/pets.shtml updated per above.

Thanks for all the detailed feedback!

Anyone know what level an unfocused Spirit of Silverwing pet is?

Approximately how many unfocused HP it has?
